Tried a different box, and it has been working great for a couple days now. Glad I found that out! loved it! For the 4 hours that it worked. Very disappointed. In the process of returning now. Opting for a different light next time.The flexible, adjustable arms that let you position the light in any direction are very convenient. This is 3 lights in one. I can light two 72 pot seed starting bins easily, with light to spare. It is powered by a usb, and has the electrical adapter included. The lights are dimmable, there are three separate switches, and you can even change the light fields from red to blue or both. The Auto on/off timer also has three easy settings. If you've ever used a light timer, this is a wonderful, simple feature. I just started seeds, so this is perfect for my tabletop. Easy instructions, and the clip helps keep it secure. Minimized, streamlined packaging helped this Green Girl smile and makes me want another one, or three!After my second light had to be returned I decided it deserved a review. The product arrived promptly and was very easy to use. However, after a few weeks my first light started to break at the base of the light. Two of the brackets that held the lights on the wire arms broke, causing the lights to hang down vertically. I returned this product to receive another. After a few weeks with the second light the product refused to turn on. Every time I would push the on button, the light would flash and go out immediately.My only problem with this light is that the adapter that came with it didn't work. Otherwise, the lights work fairly well. Also, on mine the timer settings for 3hr, 9hr and 12hr which is different than advertised.I received this light and was excited to get started on planting seedlings. The light worked perfectly for a week or so, but then i noticed the light would be off when the timer should have the light on. After trial and error, i realized the plug no longer worked and i switched to another usb plug until a second light was sent to me as a replacement. I noticed that the plugs would get extremely hot and i would only turn the light on when i was in the room to see if the replacement failed as well. The second light soon burned out and i could not use either light. These lights are not safe and should have a better electrical system in them and not a usb plug.Absolutely love its options! Select different REED and BLUE light combinations. Select LED light intensity! Select timer to auto turn off the lights!As its LED lights, its electrical draw is so low that it's actually a USB connection!The clip to attach it is super strong, and daily holds up the lights!Packaging was CUSTOM DESIGNED to fit the lights...not wasting any cardboard...So it's as environmentally friendly as possible.The documentation that came with it was well written (and NOT "Chinglish").My plants are thriving underneath the lights. They are a lot healthier than what they were doing.
