Two things:-Stain on lamp shade bleeds when it is wet from rain. Anticipate a puddle of red.-Screw connection was out of line so lamp tilts.Absolutely LOVE this lamp! Works great during storms and has a very sturdy base. ( I have ZERO worries of a wind storm coming though and it falling over)The ONLY thing I wish there was a way to fix, I can’t use my Hue light bulb in it because it is water tight.. meaning no air flow so the bulb over heats and then doesn’t respond when it is told to turn on, or off, or anything else.REALLY wish there was a way to fix that like adding ventilation underneath? Maybe? So that the water can drip down but it can still have a way to cool?Other than that LOVE THIS LAMP!The quality of this floor lamp is outstanding. I have absolute confidence in this lamp for outdoor use.i luv everything about these lamps! I bought 2 for the living room. Look expensive.Don’t get me wrong, I love the lamp.However, the lamp fails to stand erect and plumb as a lamp should.There is a threaded tube that passes through the base to which the pole is intended to thread on to. The tube is secured to the base with a washer and nut. One has to tighten the nut with enough force to provide a clamping force between the pole and the base.The tube in my lamp is barely long enough for the pole to connect. When the nut is tightened, the threaded tube slips out of the pole.In order to circumvent this problem, I cut away the decorative “mini-base” between the pole and the base. Doing so, I was able to thread the pole deeply onto the threaded tube which provided enough grip to tighten the nut firmly without slipping.It still isn’t perfect but it is much better than it was.Product received in timely fashion, and in excellent condition, assembled easily, no complaints except one.Specifications show that it features a 3 way switch. IT DOES NOT HAVE A 3 WAY SWITCH. I thought it was a defective switch, called the factory and found out that it was an error in specs, not in the product. Disappointed . That was an important feature to me.Bought this lamp for our lanai for more light. It’s perfect. Sturdy easy assembly and the perfect soft light for card playing in our lanai. Adds a warm tone and nice touch.I ordered one of these lamps a year ago and have loved it. Was easy to put together and looks and works great out on our porch. We decided to get another one this season and I have now received 2 different ones that have had manufacturing defects with the threading in the poles that connect. I'm hesitant to keep trying to get these replaced as it's a huge hassal to box back up, send in and then wait for the next one with fingers crossed.
